Building a Clothing Line and Being Willing to Fail

Posted on 20 November 2014

Phew... It's been a while since we have written a "from the heart" blog post. There are a few reasons for that.

I'll be honest, we have failed in a lot of aspects.

I don't see it as a bad thing, I believe that if you are going to do anything worth while in life, you have to be willing to fail. Where we have failed has been with consistency. It turns out that doing a little bit every day is a much better formula than doing a lot all at once.

We built up a lot of momentum in the early days of New Lyfe. It's not to say that we became overnight millionaires, but even we were surprised at the following we built up in the short amount of time.

We attributed it to the community. Recovery is something that people are really passionate about, and because it came so easy in the beginning, we took our foot off the gas pedal.

Lesson learned...

So this means that we need to be more consistent. It is important to us because we know we are more than just a fashion line. We are more than just flashy clothes and hot models and a way for you to show off how cool you are. We represent something, we speak for people and the battles they have fought. We don't take that lightly.

So there you have it. We have failed in consistency, and you can expect us to get back at it.

Bee Team bitches!
